Summer Heat Doubles Tournament July 2nd

So... who needs a partner?

Also, any scenarios available beforehand, or will it just be straight out of the 5th Edition Rulebook?

And of course... what are top places looking like? Top Overall, Best Painted, etc?

Quick 123 on Summer Heat Doubles

1) THere will be a 1st and 2nd Place, Also a Best Painted army ( you and your partners will be judged at one time as one army)

2) All models most must be atleast three color table top ready.

3) Games will be on 4x4 tables, there will be three rounds. Each Round will have its own Scenario. (Scenarios will be Posted a week before the Event)

4) Every one must Pre Register so we know how many players we are going to have and if we need to have any Standy players on hand. There is Only going to be 16 slots open. (So Far 4 are Filled up)

Are the games going to be the standard rule book games or will there be battle missions? Maybe something similar? Also where do we sign up at?

Oh another question, how will this work with the force org chart? Are we expected to, between us and our prospective teammate, meet the 1-2, 0-3, 2-6, 0-3, 0-3 requirements? If not, what will count as 'scoring units,' still only troop choices? Will lists have to be submitted prior to the tournament to ensure that they satisfy whatever FOC rules are decided upon?

Also, with the judging on the painting, it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense to combine the scores with your teammate. For someone that shows up without one and is arbitrarily assigned someone else to play with, it could utterly and completely screw them, even if they've got the greatest Golden Daemon army on the planet.

I'm just trying to think of off-the-wall crap, my bad if it's seeming nit-picky haha. When I think of any more I'll post them up here.

1)As to the force org chart, you and your partner each have a seperate army so you will have to come up with 650pt army 2 troop 1 hq min and your partner will have to have a 650pt army with 2 troop 1 hq min. in a nutshell you each have a small army so that people without partners can be paired up as fair as possible.

2) Sign up is at Morningstar Games or you can email the event grot at Eventgrot@comcast.net

3) Scenarios will be annoucned via the Event grot emails and this forum next Monday the 27th.

Scenarios whent out to day to everyone on the event grot list.
